Kids love French fries, but fast food French fries are loaded with grease and very little potato. Here’s a sweet solution—sweet potato fries! Crispy and loaded with beta carotene, vitamin C, and vitamin B, these fries are sure to become a family favorite. Pair them with organic ketchup or sriracha dipping sauce. This recipe is a cinch!
All you’ll need is extra virgin olive oil, kosher salt, and enough sweet potatoes (1 or 2 potatoes) to fill an entire baking sheet. First, preheat the oven to 425° F. While the oven preheats, cut the potatoes in half and then into slices. Cut the slices into strips. In a bowl, coat the slices in olive oil and toss. Add kosher salt and toss. Arrange the strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Make sure to leave enough space between the strips so that the potatoes get nice and crispy. After 15 minutes in the oven, take the potatoes out and flip them. Set them back in the oven for another 10 or 15 minutes, and you’re all done!
