Join Neighbors Emergency Center this Saturday, April 30th for the Raxtonstronstrong Showdown in Odessa, Texas. The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Payne’s Gym located on 2723 N. Grandview Ave. This is a fundraiser for Raxton Jones, a young boy battling a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy.
A lifting competition will take place including bench press, dead lift, squats, pull-ups, and pushups. Lifting will be judged based on everyone’s percentage of body weight. In addition a strongman competition with a fire truck pull dead lift will take place. There will be a car and bike show featuring classic cars, custom vehicles, trucks and motorcycles. The entry fee for the car and bike show is $5. All proceeds from this event will go to medical bills. Learn more about little Raxton and his family.
