Pleasure Island Bridge Half Marathon
Join the cause in the national fight against obesity at the Pleasure Island Bridge Half Marathon. The event will take place this Saturday, November 7th at 7 am in Pleasure Island, Port Arthur, TX 77642.
In addition there will be a Moore for Kids 10K and the Kinsel Ford 2 Mile. Half marathon and 10K runners will take on the MLK Jr. bridge above the Sabine-Neches Intracoastal Waterway. With a distance for everyone, bring the family out for this active event.

Toys for Tots
Neighbors Emergency Center is participating in Toys for Tots, a U.S. Marine Corps program to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December to be distributed to less fortunate children in the community.
Various Neighbors Emergency Centers are participating as drop-off centers this holiday season. This Saturday, November 7th the Baytown Neighbors Emergency Center located at 6051 Garth Rd, Baytown, TX 77521 will be available for donation drop offs.
ESPN Radio will be on site for a small duration of the day to help collect gifts. They will also be getting drawing entries to win a framed autographed jersey by Dwight Howard of the Houston Rockets. Please come out and support this amazing program. We hope to see you there.
