It’s summer—the perfect time to soak up some sun, build a sandcastle, or catch a volleyball game at your local beach. That’s exactly what Neighbors Emergency Center did by participating in ESPN Radio SunFest 2014 on Saturday, June 21. The event, put on by Yahoo Sports Radio 1560 AM and its sister channel ESPN 97.5 FM, involved a massive family-friendly beach party and volleyball tournament at the biggest beach in Texas, Galveston’s East Beach. Also on the schedule were a sandcastle building contest, a beach dig for prizes, and live entertainment. Neighbors operated a booth and gave away promotional items, contributing to an exciting day of sun, fun, and family.
