Austin, TX (January 21) – Neighbors Emergency Center, a full-service 24-hour emergency care facility with five locations in the Houston metropolitan area, will open two new locations in the summer of 2014. The new locations will be in Beaumont and Austin, Texas respectively.
Like all Neighbors locations, the new facilities will offer the same high quality, efficient emergency care offered at the Houston area locations. Each Neighbors location is fully equipped with an on-site, 24 hour clinical laboratory as well as imaging services including X-rays, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
Neighbors locations can handle any emergency without the long waits, discomfort, and inconvenience of a traditional hospital emergency room. In fact, the short wait times and private exam rooms at Neighbors Emergency Centers ensure that patient care is the top priority. For both patients and patient advocates who visit NEC, the new locations in Beaumont and Austin will be as contemporary and comfortable as those in the Houston Locations—with friendly décor and HDTVs in both the lobbies and the exam rooms.
Neighbors Emergency Center has board certified emergency physicians, nurses, and technicians with the best expertise to handle injuries such as cuts, broken and dislocated bones, head injuries, burns, sprains, and strains. Patients can be confident that they will get the care they need to help them recover. Neighbors experts can also identify and treat serious infections, breathing trouble, and flu symptoms—illnesses that can be very serious if left untreated.
Healthcare is a top priority for many Texas families and the expansion of Neighbors Emergency Center to Austin and Beaumont will be a welcome addition to the communities near these new locations. Neighbors has a history of service to the community in providing emergency care, educational and family activities as well as community events and support to people in need.
