This Saturday join Neighbors at the Snow Run & Walk 5K. Play in the snow and help give back to an amazing cause. Each year the community comes together to participate in this 5K which benefits the nonprofit Ulcerative Colitis Foundation of America. The foundation was formed by survivors of the disease and raises both awareness and funds for those who have been affected. Their mission is to inform the public about the newest methods and treatments of ulcerative colitis.
The snow run will be take place on Crockett Street in Beaumont, Texas. Check in for the race begins at 7:30 a.m., and the race begins at 8:30 a.m. Register to participate here. There are four snow blast zones, and a 1,800 square foot snow play area for kids and adults. Prizes will be awarded to the first five runners who complete the race and include 1 month memberships to World Gym. The first 100 people to complete the race will receive free Chic-fil-a cards.
