Mardi Gras on the Sabine Motor Parade

On Saturday, February 7, 2015, Neighbors Emergency Center will participate in the 12th Annual Krewe of Krewe’s Mardi Gras on the Sabine Motor Parade. The theme is “Mardi Gras Rocks” and will begin at the Downtown Pavilion at 6 p.m.

The Parade is hosted by the Greater Orange Chamber of Commerce and is a family-friendly event. There will be illuminated floats, decorated trailers, and Krewe members tossing beads, cups, and trinkets. Look for our float and celebrate Mardi Gras with us!

2015 Texas Independence Day Bike Tour

On Saturday, January 17, 2015, Neighbors participated as a sponsor of the 2015 Texas Independence Day Bike Tour. The event took place near the San Jacinto Battleground and benefitted the Deer Park Rotary Club’s service and scholarship programs.

The race brought cyclists from all over the Houston area and is a BP MS 150 Recommended Ride. The non-competitive ride included 30, 48, and 62 mile routes. Neighbors was proud to be a sponsor of this exciting event.

Leander ISD State of the District

Neighbors will attend the Leander ISD State of the District luncheon on Friday, January 9, 2015, 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. The event will take place at Hill Country Bible Church Austin located at 12124 Ranch Road 620 North. The luncheon will be hosted by the Leander ISD Educational Excellence Foundation (LEEF) and Leander ISD.

Superintendent Dr. Bret Champion will make the presentation and review the growth made by the school district and the community over the past year. A look to the year ahead will also be a part of the event with a focus on preparing Leander ISD students to graduate prepared for college or a chosen career path.

The luncheon is open to the public, but tickets are required and can be purchased through the Leander ISD website at leanderedfound.org. Funds will benefit LEEF’s College and Career Readiness Programs like dual credit textbook scholarships, Advanced Placement scholarship exams, and high school coaches.

Neighbors is proud to support these programs and help students prepare for higher education and future career goals.

Coming Soon

Neighbors is proud to announce that we are opening another new location in Orange, Texas! The new ER is scheduled to open in February 2015 and will be located at 1321 N. 16th Street, Orange, TX 77630.

We are excited to be expanding into east Texas and specifically, to the community of Orange. Check our website for more information about the upcoming opening of this new Neighbors Emergency Center.
