Checkout their beautiful gardens, recreational centers, antique shops, and museums. Finish your day off at one of their five exquisite wineries. This is a perfect spot for couples that want to get away from the hustle and bustle.

The Waterwall is an inspirational and beautiful park centered around the theme of love. It is one of Houston’s most popular places for proposals and weddings. The Waterwall is a 64 foot semi-circular fountain that recirculates 11,000 gallons of water every minute! The water flows down the inner and outer walls of a towering structure creating a “horseshoe of rushing water.” The park is surrounded by beautiful oak trees, and considered a community centerpiece within Houston.

McDonald’s Houston Children’s Festival

On Saturday and Sunday, March 28-29, Neighbors will take part in The McDonald’s Houston Children’s Festival, presented by Baker Hughes and benefiting Child Advocates, Inc. Celebrating its 27th year, the event has developed into one of the primary fundraising events for Child Advocates, which serves the interests of abused and neglected children across Houston, recruiting and training volunteers, ensuring necessary medical care, and providing the constant support that children undergoing tumultuous times need.

The festival will be held in the heart of downtown Houston, in the area surrounding City Hall, Houston Public Library Plaza, Sam Houston Park, and Tranquility Park.
